Double Coated Polyester Bonding Tape
tesa 4965 is an 8 mil transparent double-sided self-adhesive tape consisting of a PET backing and a modified acrylic adhesive with a red polypropylene release liner. The adhesive system is especially resistant to plasticizers and offers a secure bond even at elevated temperatures. It is sometimes referred to as tesa Red because of the red liner. tesa 4965 can be slit or die cut into custom parts. It is used for plastic, metal, and wood bonding where temperature resistance or clarity are key requirements. tesa 4965 is one of the most versatile permanent and critical bonding tapes on the market.
